Airlock TV is a TV prediction app. You forecast what happens in an episode, we score those forecasts after it airs, and we keep a record of your picks in your personal capsule.
Account details you provide (email, username, avatar). Predictions, answers, free-form text, scores, reactions, rivalries, followed shows, and notification preferences. Device push tokens so we can send alerts you opted into.
Show and episode metadata (titles, air dates, ids) from catalog partners. We also store episode recap and plot text from those catalogs and from publicly available Wikipedia pages, plus embeddings generated from a combination of those texts, to assist with scoring free-form predictions. Recap text is used on the backend for scoring and is not shown in the app.
Free-form prediction text and episode recaps may be sent to a third-party large language model (currently OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini) to help generate prediction questions, score free-form answers, or produce episode summaries. This data is used only for those purposes and is not used to train the model.
To run scoring, leaderboards, duels, capsules, and the notifications you enable (score ready, duel matched, duel results, lock reminders). We do not sell your predictions or personal data.
Show catalogs: TMDB and TheTVDB. Episode recap research may use publicly available Wikipedia pages to improve scoring quality. Auth, database, and push delivery run on our backend providers (including Expo for device notifications).
Turn individual notification types off in Notifications. You can follow or unfollow shows, skip duels, and request account deletion by contacting us from the About screen. Deleting your account removes profile, predictions, and device tokens from our systems.
Airlock TV is meant for a general audience. Don’t create an account if you are under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
